Hydrophilic Polymers
Hydrophilic polymers are also called water-soluble resins or water-soluble polymers.?It is a kind of hydrophilic or dispersive material that can dissolve in water.?There are a lot of hydrophilic groups in the molecular structure of water-soluble polymers.?Hydrophilic groups can generally be divided into three categories:
① Cationic groups, such as tertiary amine group, quaternary amine group, etc;
② Anionic groups, such as carboxylic acid group, sulfonic acid group, phosphoric acid group, sulfuric acid group, etc;
③ Polar nonionic groups, such as hydroxyl, ether, amine, amide, etc.?Therefore, water-soluble polymers are divided into cationic, anionic and non-ionic water-soluble polymers.
Aladdin has many natural water-soluble polymer products.?There are usually three categories by source:
(1) Natural water-soluble polymer.?Extracted from natural animals and plants.?Such as starch, cellulose, vegetable gum, animal gum, etc.
(2) Chemically modified natural polymers.?There are mainly modified starch and modified cellulose.?Such as carboxymethyl starch, starch acetate, hydroxymethyl cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose, etc.
(3) Synthetic polymers.?There are two types of polymeric resins and condensation resins, such as polyacrylamide (PAM), hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (HPAM), polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), polyvinyl alcohol, polymaleic anhydride, polyquaternary ammonium salt, polyethylene glycol, etc.?Wait.?According to the hydration groups connected by macromolecular chains, they are divided into non-ionic and ionic types.?According to the charged properties, it can be divided into non-ionic, cationic, anionic and zwitterionic polymers, of which the latter three are polyelectrolytes.?According to whether there is strong non covalent bond between groups, it can be divided into associated polymers and non associated polymers.
