Filter paper is a kind of filter tool commonly used in chemical laboratories. It is usually round in shape and is mostly made of cotton fiber. The surface of the filter paper has numerous small holes for liquid particles to pass through, while larger solid particles cannot, which allows the separation of liquid and solid substances mixed together.
