Hydrophobic Polymers
Hydrophobic substances are composed of nonpolar molecules, which make the water absorb and attract other neutral molecules and nonpolar solvents.?These molecules are alkanes and fats in general.?Including acrylic resin, epoxy resin, polyethylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, polytetrafluoroethylene, polydimethylsiloxane, polyester and polyurethane.?Aladdin hydrophobic polymers can be used as coatings, adhesives, fibers, films and engineering plastics.?In addition, they are widely used as biomedical polymers in vascular grafts, implants and ophthalmic applications.
Aladdin hydrophobic polymers are also commonly used to manage oil spills from water and oils in chemical separation processes that require the removal of non-polar substances from polar compounds.
