A flask is a glass vessel with a neck used in a laboratory to hold liquid substances. It is called a flask because it can withstand a certain amount of heat. In chemical experiments, a container used when a large amount of liquid substance is involved in the reaction. Flasks can be used to assemble gas generators. Its narrow mouth is to prevent the liquid from gushing out.
