4-硝基苯基氯甲酸酯可用于：

? 用作胺、醇和硫醇的活化试剂。

? 合成1,2,4-三唑啉二酮（urazoles）的4-取代苯基衍生物。

? 固相合成具有有效抗癌性能的3-芳基-2,4-喹唑啉二酮衍生物。

? 制备聚氧乙烯改性的右旋糖酐。

? 合成可裂解的异双功能交联剂，使胺与硫醇修饰DNA可逆偶联。

Usually used in the preparation of poly(oxyethylene) modified dextrans,and also used to synthesize a cleavable, heterobifunctional cross-linker for reversible conjugation of amines to thiol-modified DNA.
