溶于酸,不溶于水、乙醇和乙醚。有刺激性。四氧化三铁是铁的一种氧化物,其化学式为Fe3O4,相对分子质量为231.53。四氧化三铁是唯一可以被磁化的化合态铁,也是一种偏铁酸盐,可以写作Fe(FeO2)2 的形式。它也可以写成 Fe2O3·FeO 这种氧化物叠加的形式。从这里可以看出,四氧化三铁中两个铁原子是+3价,一个是+2价。富含四氧化三铁的铁矿又称为磁铁矿。四氧化三铁可由铁在氧气中燃烧获得。用于医药、冶金、电子和纺织等工业,以及用作催化剂、抛光剂、油漆和陶瓷等的颜料、玻璃着色剂等。特制的磁性氧化铁可用以制造录音磁带和电信器材。 球型四氧化三铁磁粉应用领域如下: 1,生产激光打印机高档墨粉的原料,又能用于生产复印机墨粉(高矫顽力)的原料。 2,磁性密封,可用作机械密封的旋转轴密封。 3,金属、陶瓷、纳米陶瓷、复合陶瓷基片,铁氧体材料。 4,碱性干电池的阴极板,在机械制造业可用于钢铁探伤。 5,抗紫外线材料、微波吸收材料、磁记录材料。 6,磁保健材料,可广泛添加入各类化纤、塑料、橡胶等中,制得各类保健产品和养生产品。 7,建筑结构和混凝土制品的着色。水彩、油漆、涂料等 |
